I was still a law student when I worked for Bill at the Dept. of Revenue back in the 1970's - I learned from him that it's possible to be a good lawyer and a good boss at the same time.

Teenie, I thought so much of Bill, and so enjoyed working with him at DOAH. I also remember him bringing me the mayhaws and the grapes. We really enjoyed them. He was a wonderful man, and was my mentor. He will be missed.

I know how tough it is but I'm hoping that you can find some peace knowing he's not sick anymore and he's standing up tall (which is how I remember him) in heaven now watching out for you. I have fond memories of Bill while he worked with the Department of Revenue. Bill did a great job teaching at county property appraisers’ schools. I know that you will miss your husband and father.
No bond is as great as that between a parent and child. My deepest condolences are with you as you grieve.
