William D. "Dee" CHAMBERS

To the family of Dee Chambers, I pray God will give you peace and mercy in the loss of your loved one. Thank God that he will always remain in your heart.

And, as for myself, I met Dee when he and
I were very young. We dated and were engaged to be married. Certain circumstances entered in and it was not to be. I am so sorry that this happened. I will continue to pray for the family, and especially Janice, whom I knew. And, he will always be in my heart.

I was fortunate to have the choice to call you dad. I still remember when I was about to start kindergarten sitting in the living room on Nassau St in Dayton. You came in one afternoon and said "It's your choice if you want to call me Dad or Dee.It's ok if you want to call me Dee. It's ok if you want to call me dad. It's your choice." I said, " I would love to call you dad."

My uncle Dee is my hero, He carried the name dad to a lot of family. I can hear him tell me now" suck it up princess. Now I know why he worked to make us strong. My name growing up was BOY.
