I met William "Bird" Chambers when he was a young carpenter in our neighborhood. He was very skillful at his craft. Bird was very unique and creative. In fact, I considered him a genius. Condolences to the Chambers Family during this difficult time. Bird was well respected in the community East-End community. Hampton Ave has lost another building block. He will truly be missed by all. Rest on my friend, rest on!
