William "Bill" Chappell, of Alabaster, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2016, at age 65. He was a member of the family of ushers at Church of the Highlands, Alabaster campus. He never met a stranger and was known by many as Coach Chappell. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Mary Chappell; two sons, Justin Chappell (Emily) and Jonas Chappell (Portia); three grandsons, Porter, John John and Christian; and two brothers, Donald Chappell (Angela) and Danny Joe Chappell (Susan).
A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, November 14, 2016, at 2 PM at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South in Hoover.
I'm very sorry for your loss. I will be thinking of you at this time. I'm not far away if you need anything.
