To Cristie and the Clees family... Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. Dr. Clees left a lasting impression on me after my years as a graduate student at The Citadel. He was a true gentleman and an inspiring educator. R.I.P Dr. Clees!

Dr Clees was one of my favorite professors in the Graduate School of Education at The Citadel. I'll never forget his warm personality and ready smile for each of his students. It was always a pleasure to be in his classes. May he rest in peace.

As a graduate student in Administration at the Citadel in the 90's, Dr. Clees taught me so much. He was the person I could call when I needed help with decision-makingng during my very challenging first principalship at North Charleston High School in the mid-2000's. He was a mentor. He was a friend. He changed my life. How blessed was I to have him in my corner during challenging times. To his family, I am truly sorry for your loss. RIP Dr. Clees. And thank you for believing in me. David...
