We feel a profound sadness upon hearing of Bill´s passing. As our next-door neighbor, since we moved to Berea, Bill was, without a doubt, the kindest, noblest, and best neighbor anyone could wish for. My deepest sympathy to the Clements family. His past "Berea Back When" programs offered a wealth of memories and information that leaves a legacy to always be appreciated. He was a dear friend of my brother and inspired him while on his own fight for historic preservation. Even after the passing of my brother in 2015, Mr. Clements continued to keep in contact with my mother until recently. He will always be remembered. - Sharon Hansen
