Not sure what to say?

Mr. Clifford was one of my favorite teachers (if not my favorite). I thought of him today, ten days after he passed, and searched his name. His lessons were simple with many delivered by example. He was big on a "hearty handshake" and treated everyone with respect. I also know he saw more in me than I did (and I was one of the 'cool' kids). Thanks for everything, Cliff.

I'm so sorry to hear of Mr.Cliffords passing, I'm a 1979 graduate and proud to say a former sudent of Mr. Clifford. He was such an amazing teacher and a wonderful human being! We had many laughs Thusday evenings with the ski club! My sympathy goes out to Mr. Cliffords wife and family, you will be forever in my heart.

My sincerest condolences to the Clifford family. Mr. Clifford gave me my first job at the Westwood Swim Club in the early 90s and now I run the facility. The memories that the swim club has provided for thousands of families would not be possible if it weren't for him. This summer, during the club's 50th year in operation, we will be remembering him by dedicating a garden in his memory. He was the definition of hard work, integrity, and dedication.

My sincere condolences to Mr. Clifford's family. I had Mr. Clifford "CLIFF" for Merchandising Class when I was a Junior at FLHS in 1974. He was such a great teacher and an awesome man. I remember every Friday we had a Rap Session, where we just talked about many different things. He was really cool and understanding. It was my favorite class.
Rest in Peace "Cliff".

There are very few teachers that showed the compassion and respect for all. Mr. Clifford was one of the few. Rest in Peace.

The incomparable Mr. Clifford: He was the very best boss I ever had, a simply great guy who always had a kind word and a warm smile for everyone from the youngest to the oldest, and a rare gift for making all his lifeguards feel like we were something special, even though we were just kids. Plus, he cooked a mean steak at his famous guard parties. My deepest condolences to Mrs. Clifford, Danny, Cathy, and Mary Jane on the loss of an unforgettable man who made an enormous impact on everyone...

Mr Clifford was an inspiration and mentor to me and so many others. I have never forgotten him and his many lessons. I am honored to have been his student. Bernadette Deis Maiorana Class of 1977

I had Mr. Clifford in my senior year in 1972. It was because of him that I finished high school when it was so hard while dealing with personal issues. He had a way of making you feel that no matter what happens in your life, you are important and you can make a difference. Thank you Mr. Clifford for believing in me. You will be greatly missed.

Bill Clifford: a dedicated teacher, always a gentleman and always a smile- that's how I'll remember him. My condolences to his family
