We are sorry to hear of the passing of your dad. I am Angie's cousin. We visited your dad and Angie in Connecticut back in the 70's when Amy was little. I remember them being very gracious and warm. Then we moved away and lost contact with your family until now. May wonderful memories of this special man bring you comfort.

I'm sorry for your loss. I had the privilege of meeting Bill in Asheville. At the time he was frequent customer where I worked (Mailboxes Etc..), as he was sending book revisions back and forth to an editor. He was always so pleasant to talk to and my polite but not intrusive interest in what he was writing led to many conversations. I still have my signed copy of his book Equal Opportunity Offender. I even recently had it down off the shelf, as the topic had come up in dinner table...
