William passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2017. William was a resident of Coventry, Rhode Island at the time of his passing. William was a graduate of East High School. He honorably served on the destroyer the USS Preston during the Korean War and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal and the Navy Occupation Service Medal. He was married to MaryLou. His Funeral will be held Friday at 9:00 am from the IANNOTTI Funeral Home 415 Washington St. Rte.117 Coventry with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Our Lady of Czenstochowa Church Coventry. Visiting hours Thursday 4-7 pm. Relatives and friends are invited to attend William?s burial on Saturday March 25 2017 at 10:00 am in Fort Shantock Park Fort Shantock Rd. Uncasville CT.
Dear Bill, Cathyjean, Nicole, and Marc,
Your father will be greatly missed, always remembered, and forever cherished. Not only did he touch the lives of his grandchildren and great grandchildren, he touched the lives of all whom he met. He leaves behind a Legacy of Love. I was blessed to have him as my brother.
