My condolences to the Cohen family. Billy was a great guy and boss. I had the pleasure of working for him as his delivery driver from 75-77 and filling orders along with Terry and Armand the butcher. Such a great group of people. I was appointed to the SPD and would occasionally stop by and visit with Bill throughout my career and have great conversations with him. Our family lived at 18 Pomona Street directly across from the market. My grandparents bought the house in 1954 and didn't drive, so the market was so convenient. As kids, we loved going in and picking out a Hostess snack. Billy was always so nice. When I think back, he and Armand and Terry were such fixtures in the neighborhood. A few times when our family camped at Hammonasitt, we visited Billy and his family at their cottage. Billy and Pomona Market bring back memories of a wonderful time....
