Not sure what to say?

Dear Jean,Billy and family,
We were very sorry to read about Bill's death.
Some of our fondest memories of Rising Sun came from knowing the Cole and Lockhart families.
Bill was a wonderful friend and neighbor. We'll always remember him with that great smile and upbeat personality.

Dear Jeanette,

I just learned that Bill passed away in the beginning of December. I am so very sorry for your loss and it brought so many tears to my eyes! As it does while I am writing this to you.

I am not even sure where to start...Bill was my very FIRST boss when I graduated from college. He shaped the person that I am in the work force. He was the greatest mentor that anyone could have ever asked for. I have had many bosses since I moved to Delaware 13 years...

My Dear Jeanette:

Unfortunately, I just learned about Bill. Years ago, while you served on the BCCC Board, I remember the joy you expressed about joining your husband when he travelled. Relish those memories and photos.
From the news accounts Bill sounded like he "almost" walked on water. I regret now not having the honor to meet him. I did have the good fortune to meet and work with you and I still swear you did walk on water. So brilliant, so articulate, so lovely....

Just got a call from your Mom about Bill's death. I read all the condolences and know it makes you feel good that everyone had such nice things to say about him.You have great memories to sustain you. We saw Bill[IV] on TV the other day. We had forgotten that you have three grandchildren. We had our home movies put on DVD's and enjoyed seeing you when you were little and lived next door. We are proud of you and your family and have lots of memories of good times together.
Love,...

Jeanette and family, so sorry to hear of Bills passing, he was one of the nicest people I have had the pleasure to know, never an unkind word, I know he will be missed by many many people for whom he took the time to help and be a friend to. my thoughts and prayers are with all of you. those grandchildren will now have a very special angel beside them

Bill was the guiding light for the founding of the Bendix Radio Foundation at the Baltimore Museum of Industry. He provided guidance, mentoring and positive encouragement during our early years.
The BRF will indeed miss him.

Our deepest sympathy and prayers

Jeannette, Bill and family,

Bill was our friend, mentor, and a shining example of how to be a great person - in business, in the community, in general. His smile made the biggest impression.

We're so sorry to learn of his passing.

With deepest sympathy,
Karyn and Don Haasen
