COLE, William “Ray” – Of Flint, age 85, died Monday, July 22, 2019.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Father Jay J. Gantz officiating.
Entombment at Crestwood Cemetery.
Visitation 3-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
William was born on November 23, 1933 in Lake City, Arkansas, the son of the late William and Annie Cole.
On April 6, 1985 he married Estela Stone.
He enjoyed traveling and going to casinos.
Mr. Cole was employed by Grand Blanc Assembly “Tank Plant” and was a member of UAW Local #1292.
Surviving are wife, Stella;
daughter, Raelyn Cole;
4 step-daughters, Star (Nanette) Shilling, Wanda (David) Baird, Tina (Mark) Miller and Deana (Kirk) Wilson;
17 grandchildren;
29 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Wimmer.
