On behalf of the 2nd Generation Group of the USS South Dakota Battleship (BB57), I would like to express our sincere condolences to the Bill's family. Bill was, without a doubt, a major contributor to the 2nd Generation Group. I enjoyed our internet chats very much and had hoped to meet Bill in person at one of the reunions. Bill will now re-join his fellow shipmates who have gone before him. What a wonderful reunion that will be.
