WILLIAM J. "MIKE" CONNELL Sr.

When I became superintendent of distribution at MWRA in 1987, Bill was the general foreman of the night shift at the Mystic Shops. The first day I met him, he assured me that he didn't sleep on his watch and he would do a great job for me. Which he did. He retired during my tenure as superintendent. Mr. Connell, Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served with the USAF during the Korean War. And to your Family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Sorry to hear about mike, he´s in my prayers, cut his hair and played golf with him for a long time , he was a funny guy, always beat my butt.

My deepest sympathies to the Connell family. Mike was a positive influence to many at St. Paul´s CYO in Cambridge, he volunteered his time and expertise to many of us trying to learn how to better ourselves playing baseball. Re met Mike at Fresh Pond golf club and shared many memories of his influence on me and others. RIP Fran Connolly
