Not sure what to say?

Phyllis and Family, I am so sorry to hear of our loss. Rev. Connors was part of so many of our lives. Your father will be greatly missed.

Phyllis, Sandra & Bill -
It's been many years since I've seen any of you. However, I remember each of you when you were younger; and your Dad and Mom were a part of my life when I lived there. At first we were in the old church in the Village, and later on in the building that's now the First Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant. I have so many memories of those years, and your parents were very much a part of them. They were always the same each time I saw them, and they never...

We were so sorry to hear of your loss. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help at this time.

Rev Conner and Mrs Mary have been a very special part of our lives. Rev Conner performed our wedding, he baptized Tim, he performed the ordination service for Tim into the Gospel Ministry. They both were excellent role models to us both, as servants in the ministry here in NC. They will always hold a special place in our hearts. Phyllis, Sandra, Bill, and to all of your families, May God Bless you with his peace and comfort in this time of loss, and may you also rejoice in his "homecoming"....

God has called home one of his own after decades of service to our Lord. Our prayers are with you in this time of loss. Pastor Bill was the epitome of a man of faith and was our Preacher when we lived in Mount Pleasant.

My thoughts and prayers are with you Phyllis and your family on the loss of your father. May God Bless you and comfort you all.

Gwin and I are so sorry for your loss. What a wonderful man. He was always there for our family and many others. Hank Resch

Phyllis, Sandra, Bill & families,
Our family is saddened by the homegoing of your dad, yet how thankful we are to have had him touch our lives.

Rev. Connor & Mrs. Mary were so special to Ralph & I from the beginning of our lives as a couple. They always made us feel like we were a part of your family & included us in your family meals. After they came to Statesville, Angela & Matthew loved them just like grandparents. Again, when each of you would come to Statesville, we were...

We first met Bill Connor and his dear wife Mary in 1980 in Statesville, NC, when we joined Western Avenue Baptist church. Bill and Mary quickly endeared themselves to us through their selfless service to the church and community and their love for God and His people. I especially enjoyed going with Bill on Tuesday night visitation and was always astounded at the ease with which he could take what seemed to me to be a casual conversation and turn it into a gospel presentation without any...
