I just read about Bill’’s passing and I’m very sorry. Bill and I were in Saint Cassian’s School in the class of 1961. I lived on Appleton Place. We were all good friends back in the day. May Bill Rest in Peace.

I began my association with Bill in 1977, when I joined the NJM Sales team in our East Orange office. Bill and his dad worked closely with us on a number of commercial accounts, and over the next 25 years, Bill and I worked together a number of times. He was always a gentleman and an honest broker. Having known Bill both personally and professionally for many years, I know he will be greatly missed. His legacy as a husband, father and grandfather will live on in his family. Sending prayers and condolences to Melinda and Bill's children and grandchildren and all his family members.

Bill Connolly was truly a gentleman’s gentleman, unfailingly polite and helpful to so many persons. Every time I drive by the northwest corner of Claremont and Park in Montclair, I am reminded of Bill and his Dad and how much they have been models for anyone who wishes to be a good citizen and person.
