Not sure what to say?

Bill and I worked together all his years at Smith Elementary. He was larger than life and dealt with problems with both humor and compassion. All of the faculty appreciated his support. I will never forget the first time he evaluated me, his only comment was "The patience of Job and the wisdom of Solomon! Glad it is you and not me."
My condolences to his family. He will leave a large hole in your lives because he gave so much.

My condolences to the family. You are in my prayers and thoughts.

My late husband, Dale Norris, had the privilege of having Bill as his principal at Safford Junior High in the 1960’s and later at Fickett Jr. High in the 1970’s. He loved this man! They laughed and partied together and had incredible mutual respect for each other. Bill thought Dale had the best middle school band in the city and he attended his concerts long after he had retired. I sat in front of him once at a concert at Magee and wondered who the man was behind me who was loudly...

Dear Family of Bill Corcoran
My late husband, Jim Myren, worked with Bill in three schools, and I worked with your mother at one. Bless you all and remember he good times.

Colleen, Mike and family,
May your memories, friends and family sustain you during this difficult time. May you honor your dad by carrying forward a small piece of his legacy in your heart to share as your own. My deepest sympathy to you and your family.
Hugs and prayers,
Carol

Dear Cochelle and family,
Your dad was our larger-than-life principal when I attended Safford Junior High in the very early 60's. We all enjoyed, loved and respected him very much. He was truly unforgettable! Roger and I send our sincere condolences to you all.

My condolences to your Family in your loss. My prayers are with you. Cherish the memories of the good times and He will be with you always.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Bill Corcoran for 21 years. I have fond memories of Bill coming to Magee to take his daughter, Cochelle, to lunch. Cochelle made it clear to the office staff when her father came in the building he was not to be kept waitiing. My sincere condolences go out to all of the Corcoran children and their families at this difficult time. Bill was a remarkable and distinguished man who will be remembered by many.

CORCORAN Family, We were your across the street neighbors for many years and got to know each of you and of course your parents and grandparents Pence. Thoughts of all of you have remained in my memories. I know each of you will replace sad thoughts with happy times with your dad, one we all enjoyed. My best to each of you and your families and to you also Sue and your family. Fondly Betty Klein
