Bill and I trained together all through The Basic School at Quantico and Artillery School in Fort Sill. Because our names were close alphabetically, we always sat together in class. We both served together at 1st ANGLICO in Vietnam. We flew home together and I last saw him at the Dallas/Ft. Worth airport in 1973. A great man.
