William "Alex" Corkern Sr.

Mr. Corkern was a very special person. I had not known him very long, but we developed a special friendship. I work at Central Wal-Mart, and he would stop by my register every time he came in and we would visit and he would get his hug. Even when I had surgery, he called and checked on me every couple of days, and when I didn't hear from him, I did the same.I told him after I had my knee surgery, we would get our walkers and have a race down the main aisle at Wal-Mart.
