Not sure what to say?

I miss you dad, I know you will be our angel and keep us safe my hero my best friend thank you for being such a great father I love you that love will never stop Dad. And thank you for calling me every night a promise you kept after Mom passed. I can't lie dad I still find myself waiting for your phone call God I miss you Dad

Our deepest condolences to the entire Correll family. Bill was was a true hero and patriot. Our Country is is in his gratitude and I was happy to have the privilege of knowing him. Sincerely, Randy and Juana Smith

Bill was a one of a kind man. He personified the definition of a hero. He and Maxine were treasured friends of my parents, Lois and Jimmy Bell. I have many fond memories of laughing and sharing happy times together. Our family recently moved to Alaska but my thoughts and sincere sympathy are with Bill's family.

Bill was my best friend, Carol's Dad and I grew up three doors down the street. He was one of the hardest working, toughest son of a guns I've ever known. He kept us from getting into mischief many times, simply because we were always afraid that he would catch us. He was like a second father to me. She has the toughest guardian angel protecting her now. Melanie Mansergh-Barry, Manteca CA

Bill and my mom Mary Neal Wickman attended to Mission High in the City. Both families have been friends for decades. I will attend Saturday's service.

I am saddened to learn of Bill's passing. I met him as a kid, as my dad worked with him for many years at 5 trk. I got to work for him as a young officer at station 5. My fondest memories are of John Harrington and I staying up until midnight making sure we did everything correctly as he always followed us. Invariably he would always get us and say , " you 2 knuckel heads missed this, this or this. He was the greatest. What I learned from him was what a real leader was. We were lucky to have...

Cohesed the young "pups" at Station 5 in the late 70's. Taught us about firefighting and life. We all became part of Correll's Raiders. Unsurpassed legacy from USMC to SFFD. God bless Bill!
