Not sure what to say?

Bill and Ruthie I just heard if your sons passing. My sincere sympathy to you and your family. I remember him as a young boy playing with my son Greg. May you find peace in your faith. Ginny Roberts Adams

I’m so sorry to hear about your loss. Although I didn’t know Bill personally, I knew his younger sister Gretchen and his parents Ruth and Bill. This is such a tremendous loss and my heart goes out to all of his family. God bless you all.

Bill was one of the finest young men I have had the privilege of working beside at FDA. He was totally dedicated to his mission of protecting the public. I learned a lot from him. We used to sit and talk about his dad's exploits as a Corpsman in the USMC during Vietnam. I was an Army medic in Nam and we shared experiences. Bill will be sorely missed by all. There is a new star shining in our skies....it is Bill, heading heavenward. God bless.

I knew Bill only through his work at FDA, but I can testify that his 24-7 dedication to food safety was literally 24 hours a day, some days and nights. To prepare litigation documents to support an injunction against a Brooklyn company selling listeria-contaminated seafood, Bill worked constantly through the night from noon one Sunday to 7 a.m. Monday, seeing the documents off to the court and then going back to the office.
He not only served to protect the public with his work; he...

My deepest sympathy to the family. I am a RN and Infection Preventionist in the community. Every life we have lost in our community is one too many. I know the Frederick Health staff has worked hard this past year. These deaths are tough and heartfelt. May God bless his soul and with time bring you peace
