Not sure what to say?

Paul is still remembered. His legacy will stand forever.

What a joy it was to know and love Paul. He was so kind to me as a member of his church so many years ago. His preaching moved us. His big heart was an even more important sermon.

Grateful for his life; he'll be deeply missed, but we know where he is and that he doesn't want to come back.

1 Cor. 15

Dear Jean and family, I'm so sorry to hear of Paul's passing, and know that he impacted so many of us from the Christ Chapel years. I know eternity was on Paul's heart, and that he's now safe at home.

My wife and I celebrated our 47th anniversary last June by staying at Whitestone Lodge. We had the the opportunity to spend time talking with Rev. Cowell. Our hearts and lives were touched by his ministry. Our prayers are with you, family and friends.

Mr Cowell was one of the most Cordell and nicest Christian man I've ever known. His friendliness and witnessing legacy have undoubtedly changed many many people's lives. A true soldier for Christ he will be remembered and missed by all. May the lord comfort and be with Jean and all the family.

We visited with our two teens on July 4 and prayed with Paul and Jean when we learned of his health concerns. Our hearts go out to you all, and your legacy for His Kingdom's sake is clear. Whitestone is a blessing and a restoration that has no bounds. We will be praying for you in the days to come as surely as we are praising and giving thanks to God for you tonight. God is smiling and making a place for all who love Him as you so clearly do. Paul got there a little sooner, and a sweet...

Dear Jean and Family,

Rachel and I share our deepest condolences with all of you on the Home-going of your beloved Paul.

The world is a less-rich place with Paul's departure. Only when we too are in heaven will the extent of his influence and impact for Jesus and His Kingdom be fully understood. From his gracious ministering to individuals, to his efforts to provide blessing and refreshment to missionaries around the world, the fingerprints of God were on Paul's life and...

South Side High School, Jackson, TN, Class of 1959 remembers Paul as a treasured classmate. His friendly manner and willing service to others will not be forgotten. We send our love and condolences to Jean and his family.

Paul will truly be missed on this earth, but oh how he has added to heaven. My heart feels with his family, and I pray the Holy Spirit will do for them what Paul knew the Holy Spirit can and will do. I am grateful for the beautiful memories received from staying at Whitestone. Thank you, Paul.
