Charlotte and Family,
My most heartfelt sympathy to each of you. You have been in my thoughts and prayers since I learned of Bill's illness... and will continue to be in the coming weeks. Char, both you and Bill are shining examples of the goodness and caring found throughout the NAIFA Federation. I'm sorry I can't make it to Syracuse to be with you, but you know I will be there in thought and I'm here for anything that you need, Association-wise. Everyone from the AEC in San Diego and...

Charlotte:
This is sad news indeed for all who know Bill and you. One can only marvel at all of Bill's accomplishments and his extensive comittment to his work, and as we all easily witnessed, to you. Call on your many friends to help you in this difficult time.

Charlotte:
Betty and I just want to say how sorry we are for the loss of Bill. He made us feel a part of Berwald from the very start. He showed us that the Berwald family was not just the singers, but other family members as well.
We consider you one of our closest friends and wish you and your family comfort and peace at this time.

All our Love,

Charlotte-
I just wanted to extend my condolences to you and your family. I'm glad I got to meet Bill right before you guys went on your trip to Alaska. Please know that I'm thinking of you and yours.

Charlotte,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. Over 11 years ago when we decided to start the insurance program at the college Bill was one of the first people I hired to teach. From that day on, Bill became a mentor to me, teaching me all that I needed to know about the...
