I had played guitar on and off for years. Brought my guitar in one day to the station to practice. Frustration took over as usually when i could not make the music sound right. Lt Crawford showed me some new lics and encouraged me to play on. Thanks Lt for the friendship and music.

Our sincerest condolences on your loss. He will be dearly missed.

Fly on the wings of an eagle with your banjo in your hand. Bill. It has been an honor to have you as my best 'Guy Friend'. I will miss our stories, our laughs and our tears, but most of all you taught me how to be brave. I love you and will never forget. To the Crawford family my thoughts and prayers are with you during this time.

He was a wonderful son father brother and husband he will be missed and loved forever by his mom mercy Louise

Bill was the first Lieutenant I had when I started at WSFD in 2013. He was just all around great guy, firefighter, and mentor. I'm thankful I got the chance to know him and give my deepest condolences to his family. Rest well, Bill. We'll take it from here.

I weep today at the loss of my best guy friend Bill. We had a bond that will be ever lasting...the laughs and tears we shared. Fly like an eagle to your resting place with your banjo in your hand. I love you always my friend and I know you always reply, but I love you more! I will never forget you Bill because you are unforgetable.
