Not sure what to say?

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life’s routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends. I am a 1952 SE grad and remember Bill & family from HS.

Dr. Bill Cross Family

I knew Bill at Southeast High School as a classmate. He was a couple of years older, but the Cross family is among the most reputable, in my mind, in the Kansas City area. Bill's Father, Jess, was my gym coach from whom I learned many important life values. I can see from Bill's obit that he followed his Father's example of an upstanding man. I'm certain he will be missed by those closest to him.

Dr. Bill was a true gentleman and a scholar. He was a member of a great Southeast family. I enjoyed
knowing him for over fifty years. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Mary and the family.

Bill will be missed, by so many for both his friendship, work in and with schools and continued support of his college.

As you may remember, I married John R. Jennings, (dec'd) in 1979, a college friend & frat brother of Bills and I am also a cousin of Bette Henderson who was of course your neighbor.

My condolences to you, the girls and family.

Dr. Cross was my Philosophy teacher at North Kansas City High School. He brought warmth, enthusiasm and energy to our classes. I know he will be greatly missed.

My condolences to the family.

Dear Mary,
I've known Bill since we were in the 8th grade together. We've both traveled interesting roads since then. I deeply regret his passing, which I know is a huge loss to everyone around him. He was well known and highly regarded in many areas.
Our prayers remain with you Mary. With best regards to you and your family always,

I had the privilege of having both Bill and his father Jess as teachers. Bill was a outstanding teacher and a great role model for all his students. The Northland will miss him. Charles Walz , Class of 71
