Freddie, sorry about your loss, and mine as well. Bill and I were good friends through GHS, Furman, and Medical school. We didn’t see each other often after that, but when we did meet the conversation began to move seamlessly from the previous gathering. I already miss his wit and laugh! Bill Hines

I will miss him. He filled a room with charisma, joy of living and the good, old fashioned southern gentleman ability to tell a tale. He supported me when it was needed and told me to "buck up" when it was needed. He will be sorely missed as a man and a doctor. He created an amazing family filled with confident, kind, impressive people. Sending heartfelt condolences for your loss.
