Send FlowersDahl, William J. "Bill" Gaines Age 68, died Sunday, January 15, 2017 at his residence. A memorial service will be held 1pm Saturday, January 21, 2017 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, Pastor Steve Wood officiating. Cremation has taken place. Visitation 12 Noon Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home. William was born in Cedarville, Michigan on September 10, 1948, the son of the late John and Edna (Bullard) Dahl. On December 19, 1969, he married his true love, Chloe Floyd in Flint. Surviving are wife, Chloe Floyd Dahl; sons, John and Dan Dahl; grandchildren, Falishica Atkins, Ryan Dahl, Cameron, Haylei and Natalie Drope; sisters, Judy (Jack) Darga, Mary Prentler and Karen (Joe) Henze; brothers, Gary (Jeri) Dahl and Carl (Nancy) Dahl; constant companions, dogs, Jake and Cody; many other family members and friends.
