Not sure what to say?

Evelyn, I've been in Dubai this past month with Melodye and family. I just got back today and learned of Bill's passing. I'm so sorry to hear this. Every memory I have of him is that of a decent man with a sense of humour. I remember him playing the piano. I remember him always being so gracious. Over so many years. My heartfelt condolences to you, Natalie, Adam and Kelton.

My condolences go to all the Dalm family. I only know Mr. Dalm professionally as a result of working with my mother on her will and other legal documents. He was so helpful and thoughtful in his dealings with us. Sincerely, Ruth A. Shearer

I am saddened to learn that Bill passed away. We met as fellow optimists and had a common relative in Lorraine Prange. He was a true gentleman and will be missed. My prayers and condolences to the Dalm Family.

Sincerely, Hal Prange

My condolences to the entire Dalm family. Our "Waite Avenue neighborhood" has lost some stalwarts over the past 3 months - my brother, Casey; Lee Allen and now "Billy". I have many fond memories of being with and around the Dalm's as a young girl. Prayers go out to all of you for the strength to move forward. Lois Plantefaber

Rolla knew he had a task master in Bill and I was lucky when I came along to have someone like Bill to teach me some of the ropes. He was a great friend to me and to the tournament.

I remember sitting in his office back in the mid 90s, I can't remember the exact reason for...

I first met Bill and his brother Chris on Pine Lake in 1967. Bill was known as "Billy” when his mom spoke of him. Bill has the coolest single seated black boat that he would let me drive. Every summer Bill and Chris spent time on Beech Island at Pine Lake hanging out with all the Troffs, Birdsalls, Pinksters and VanTilburgs. We had fish fries, water skied, swam, had pop corn parties, bought red licorice at Oakwood resort, and participated in the 4th of July boat parade and ski show. ...
