Not sure what to say?

Bill was a formative boss of mine in the Foreign Service. May his memory be a blessing to Diana and all the people he touched.

I will always cherish the wonderful memories of sharing music stories with Bill, especially chamber music.

I am saddened to hear of Bill's passing. What a wonderful photo of him and his bassoon! I will always remember our lessons together...he moved very quickly as a student and was very dedicated to his craft. Rest in peace, Bill Dameron. You will be missed!

I had the great pleasure of attending Bill and Diana´s wedding in 1991. They were married in a church on 23rd St., a few blocks from the State Department. Lunch was at Le Refuge in Old Town Alexandria. Sancerre was the wine of choice. It turned out to be a wonderful marriage. I am so sorry that it came to an end too soon.

I knew Bill back in his oboe playing days in Washington, DC. I played bassoon in some chamber groups with him. Lost touch with Bill until I saw a post on Facebook where he mentioned he was starting to play bassoon. I told him I had just gone from my old Puchner to a Fox 201D, and shortly after he let me know he had purchased a Fox 201 as well. This was the last I had heard from him, and I am sad to hear of his passing. Condolences to his family and friends.

Our hearts are broken for you, Diana, Phoebe and family. Let's all continue to fill the air with music in Bill's memory.

My condolences go out to Bill's family and I am truly sorry for their loss.

Dad's last concert. Mother's Day 2025. Hurrah!
