Not sure what to say?

I could write a book of the many things Uncle Bill & Aunt Ginny have done for me. Thanks to Uncle Bill's never-failing faith we saw Grandma (Iva Sexton) raised from the dead. As she took her last breath in one of his revival services in New Albany, IN, prayer was made as he held on for her life. The Lord came through and we had Grandma a few more years. Uncle Bill used to carry a prayer request box with him to his meetings and by this prayer was made for me to receive the Holy Ghost when I...

Those who knew him were fortunate indeed. My Uncle Bill had such a great sense of humor. Spiritual guidance was his calling. He was loving, fun, and energetic with a yearning to listen and learn. He never had a negative thought of any person or idea. He always treated everyone with the utmost respect in the kindest manner. I will always remember his laughter and spirit of life. Uncle Bill will forever remain a part of my life.

I go to the Gospel Assembly Church in Louisville. and Bro. Davenport came there with his wife a lot a few years ago. I remember him getting up and saying some good words. Also playing the harmonicia. He will be missed . My sympathy to the family.

William "Sticks" and Carole,
You will be in our prayers during this time of loss.

Some ministers will only let their little group participate regardless of what God's Spirit leads. I am a singer also as well as a Christian, and Bro. Davenport was very careful that he gave other singers the platform if they were holy. He had much faith in his JESUS. God bless you family, and may...
