William Heath Davis

William Heath Davis, 90, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2010. He was born on July 14, 1919 in Union County, son of the late William Callie and Glennie Baucom Davis. Mr. Davis was a US Army WW II veteran and a retired employee of Griffin Farm Equipment. A memorial service will be held Monday, February 1, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Gordon Funeral Chapel. The family will greet visitors following the service. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Holmes Davis and a brother John Hayne Davis. He is survived by his daughter, Wanda Tomberlin and husband Jimmy of Monroe, sisters, Frances Simpson and Nell Dean Helms, both of Monroe, grandchildren, Christie Tomberlin Canavaciol and Tommy Tomberlin.
