Not sure what to say?

My sincerest condolences to the Davis and Stobs families. I will always remember Al for his good humor and kind words over the years since I first went to work at Swope and Stobs. Al will be missed by so many whose lives he touched.

Alfie will always be remembered. Growing up in the Shores..12th avenue, not far from the Davis house. We were so happy to see Alfie and Shirley at a few of our "mini" Edison reunions in Dillsboro,NC.. Rest in pease Alfie.

Sleep in Peace Wreath

Dear Shirley and family, we think Al has a meeting going on up there with Herta. I am so sorry I can't be there with you, and you know we loved Al. We love you and your family and all you've done and put up with to help make Miami Shores what it is today. We thank all of you for that. May Al rest in peace.

The Spathiphyllum Plant

Lawton and I were so sorry to hear this news. We remember fondly the New Years Eve parties you and Shirley hosted when all we had to do was walk down our alley way to your house..The fun times we had working on one of your first campaigns for Village Council. So many good memories and such an important part of our lives in The Shores.
Our deepest condolences to Shirley, Billy , jimmy and Julie and the entire Davis/Stobs family .
Lawton and Sandy McCall

Oh Alfie...I am so sorry. My friend who use to always make me slow down on 12 Ave aka 1960...my friend who loved Shirley and all the Stobs family, my friend who we shared so many Rotary great times and my friend who loved the Shores like we do and did so much for the betterment of others. Thank yo for a life well lived and for all you did for others.

Always sad to loose one of our own(Miam Edison). You were a good friend Alfie and you will be missed. Strength and prayers to the family!
