I am SGT Sandy Newman and me and Dawson(Thunderkat) were a part of the same company. I can only imagine how it felt knowing how I felt when I heard the news. All I could think about was how he kept us laughing. He would always do impressions of everyone putting on a show. He will truly be missed and never forgotten. To the family my heart and prayers go out to you.

I only got to speak to for a minute Friday, before the plane landed. I'm one of the Gold Star Moms that came. My heart goes out to you and your family.
