Deitering, William Andrew of Abilene, Kansas, formerly of Hopkins, MN. Born April 16, 1926 died on 12-17-06 of cancer. Preceded in death by his parents, Andrew & Winnifred, sisters, Peggy and Claire. Survived by wife, Lois, sister, Maureen Marshall; children, Charles, Patrick (Julie), Nancy McConville, Mike (Diane) and Paul (Kathy). Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Bill was a WWII vet, employed by Swift Foods, Supreme Foods and finally retiring from ownership of the diamond Motel in Abilene. He was great husband, father, grandfather and friend. He'll be deeply missed by all. A memorial service will be held in Abilene.

I was so sorry to read of your loss. I remember you as our neighbors on 5th Av. S. in Hopkins. Back in the day, between your family and ours, their were enough kids to fill the neighborhood.

I lived on a farm near Bancroft, Iowa, and went to St John's as well. I was born during 1931 so Bill was a little older than I.
