I was so fortunate to have grown up with Bill in College Park in the 60's and 70's. Bill was one of the funniest guys I've ever known and was a true friend in high school and for years afterwards. We used to surf together at Cocoa Beach and camp out at the jetties at Port Canaveral.

Bill and I got together again and shared some laughs at our 20 year EHS reunion in 1991. Unfortunately, that was the last time I ever saw Bill. He will truly be missed by all who knew him but the great...

I met Bill in 1970, through a friend of a friend. Although I only knew him for about two years, I'll always laugh inside when I think of the times we spent camping at the jetties at Port Canaveral. A bunch of us would go over on a Friday and stay til Sunday, sometimes hitchiking or bumming a ride from someone. He was so funny to be around and some of the stories he told made us laugh. As we travel through this journey of life, more often than not, we seldom think about how others may touch ours even if those encounters only occur in casual conversation for brief moments. Maybe it's because we shared the same age, or I could sing along from the crowd on some of the songs he would do at Tanqueray's... or perhaps, it was the night he offered me Skin and Bone's new CD "Outside Looking In" as a jesture of thanks for my loyal support of the band playing there all the time.
