Not sure what to say?

Dr. DuMuth saved my life when I was only 2 weeks old by performing lung surgery on me in 1959. I am now 56 years old and owe my entire life to him. So very sorry to hear of his passing, but I know many, many lives were saved or made better by his medical knowledge. My prayers to the family.

Bill and Don DeMuth.
I have known your father since 1980 when we met at HMC. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and yours.

A real life hero, who saved lives and eased pain and suffering for many others. Practiced surgery the way it was meant to be practiced
Dr. and Mrs. Lottie Varano

May all your memories of a life well lived be in your hearts forever. I enjoyed every minute talking with Doc and all the stories he had to tell while visiting with him in Carlisle and also when hunting pheasants at the bird club.

My sympathy to the family. Bill was instrumental in my pursuit of a trauma system in PA and a trauma center in central PA. He nurtured me and promoted me for the Chair of the PA Committee on Trauma. He was a superb technical surgeon with a great wit and knowledge.
J Stanley Smith MD
