William R. "Bill" Denman

It is with great sadness I learned of Bill's death. He was a wonderful person to work for and was always happy. My sincere condolences to all of you. He will be missed by not only those who worked at Irion County schools but missed by all who knew him.

Mr. Denman was an amazing, caring, dedicated and thoughtful man. He was always a tremendous leader and mentor for every student at Irion County. They truly broke the mold when they made him. My deepest sympathies and condolences to the entire family.

A happier man I never met. I respected and admired what he did for the students and everyone at Irion Co. But that was just the way he was. The world has lost a great man but heaven has a new Saint.

My children had the good fortune of attending Irion County schools while he was our superintendent. And John was always proud of the fact he was serving on the School Board when Bill was hired. Sorry to hear of Mr. Denman's passing -he was a nice man. My wife taught under him at Mertzon and never had an unkind word for him. J.W. Holmes

I am so very sorry at Mr. Denman's passing. He was the superintendant at my school in Mertzon. He was one of the very best we ever had. My prayers are with his family in this time of loss.

I worked for Mr. Denman at Irion County. He always had a smile and a big hello for everyone.
