Not sure what to say?

I knew Thornton from North Fulton. He enjoyed visiting with all of us at our class reunions. He was such a wonderful person, and he will be deeply missed at our 55th reunion in May. We have lost a dear friend. My thoughts are with his family.

My deepest condolences to the family. I had privilege of working with Thornton at Synovus. He was always a collaborative and honorable team member. I am so fortunate to have had the opportunity to have worked with Thornton.

He was indeed an extraordinary man. I was blessed to work with him at Synovus Bank for over a decade. The world has lost a true gentleman and gentle spirit.

The Best!

DeRosa family - Thornton was a consummate southern gentleman and a great person to work with, while I too, worked in banking in Atlanta. He was well thought of and respected. I´m so sorry to hear of his passing..

Jean and DeRosa family: I am so saddened to learn of Thornton´s passing. I worked with him for a good while. He was such a kind person and a great and supportive boss. He was especially kind to me when my daughter experienced a serious illness. I´ll never forget that. Peace to all of you.

Jean and DeRosa family, My very deepest condolences. Thornton was such a gentleman. I had the privilege of working with him for a good number of years at Bank of North Georgia and Synovus. He had the best attitude and I always left his office with a smile - even when he turned down my deals. There was no one finer! He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

I miss the both if you and your extended family too. Bevkyb

Dear DeRosa Family, I send my love, support, and condolences in response to Thornton's passing. What a beautiful family that I have known for so many years and Thornton is a big part of glorious growing up memories. Love, Betsy Garlington
