On January 23, 2012, William L. Derrick, 69, went peacefully and joyfully into the arms of his Lord and Savior. Bill was a man of great faith who spent many hours a day studying the Word as well as praying and interceding on behalf of countless people. You may have been one of them. He had a...

Not sure what to say?

It's hard to believe it's been another year! The Derricks and Tuckeys have a LOT of memories watching our kids grow up, and enjoying our dozens of experiences! God has DEFINITELY rewarded him as only God can!

Gale, I am so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. The Lord certainly had a sidewalk paved of gold for Bill to lead him into heaven. You and Bill were my encouragement in my time of need. A shoulder to lean on. I will miss him terribly. CLA brought us together more than once and will again.

If we could say we EARN our home in
Heaven, Bill CERTAINLY would have done
that. Of course, as the Bible says, we
are rewarded for our works. Eileen and I,
along with all other born-again Chris-
tians, soon know just how big a reward
he is enjoying.
Of course, it is QUITE a reward just
to see all our families who are already
there!

So sorry to hear of Bill's passing. Bill and I were neighbors and playmates when we were kids growing up in Wormleysburg.

Uncle Bill was my greatest insperation on this planet.

Dear Gale, Amy and Joel,
My deepest love and sympathy to you all! Bill has been in my prayers since I heard that he was hospitalized. I just happened to see the message from Amy. Please know that I am united with you in prayer especially on Tuesday when you all join together to lay Bill to rest. "Life is changed, not ended!" I am sure that Sister Lea was waiting to be among the first to greet Bill. How she loved him. All the Sisters here extended their prayerful support and sympathy. I...

I went to high school with Bill, he was one of the good guys.

Daddy Bill, You'll be forever in my heart. Looking forward to our reunion. You served well on this earth and we are all the richer for your life here. Will miss your hugs, laugh and presence. Phillipians 1:6

To Gale, Joel and Amy,

Words simply can't describe what Bill meant to me. He was always there for me throughout some of the most difficult times in my life. He was a friend and mentor and I will miss him now...but I know I will meet him again in Glory! God surely used Bill to reach out to many. May God give you His Peace which passes all understanding through this time.
