This message comes late,but I just learned of Bill's passing yesterday. I worked with him closely in the late 1960's into the early 1970's. He was then an inspector with the Fairmout Park Police. I was a lieutenant then and knew Bill well. He was a very competent police commander, a very warm person, and always the gentlemen. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal. The members of our CopNET family would like to thank Deputy Commissioner William P. Bill was a wonderful neighbor and a true gentleman. We had the pleasure of knowing him for over twenty years and he will be missed. From various conversations and interactions with Bill, it was obvious he had a rich life, complete with a loving family and cherished friendships.
Our sympathy and prayers go out to his loved ones in this time of sorrow.
