Dear Sue & Chris, Eight years have passed, but in my mind the memory of your mom & dad talking & laughing with my folks on the porch brings them all closer to my heart. Gosh, don´t we miss them! I hope that fond memories of Christmases past will bring you joy every year. Love, Cousin Sherry

Dear Aunt Jean, Sue, Chris, and families, We are so sorry for your loss. Uncle Bill was one of a kind and will be sorely missed by all who knew him. We pray that you find comfort in the love, thoughts, and prayers of family and friends that love him and you.

I'm very sorry for you loss. I always will cherish the stories he would tell me of him in the military. Some of his stories still make me smile to this day. I have used a few of his stories to motivate some of my troops as well. He will be sorely missed, My condolences to the family.

The Allen and Cereta Veldhuis family (including Scott and Becky) have known the DeVries family for many years thru the First United Methodist Church. Bill was a positive influence on us growing up. We spent times camping together, breaking bread and enjoying good times. Bill had a great sense of humor. He will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the DeVries family.

I am so sorry for your loss. Isa 33:24 tells us that soon "No resident will say I am sick." Sickness and death will be a thing of the pass. Until then please be comforted by the God of all comfort.
