William Edwin Dibble

I was in his honors colloquium class 1980-1981 (first two semesters of a four-semester experience) and again in 1983 (last semester of a scaled-down two-semester experience) and thoroughly enjoyed it. Great man!! Long-time family friend and one of my later father's best friends and colleagues. One of my fondest memories of college was serving as TA for his and my father's joint honors colloq. They made science fun!! Bill will be missed by all. Sarah Farmer

What a wonderful obit honoring such a brilliant man! I never saw Bill without a welcoming smile and a kindness in his beautiful eyes. He will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his beautiful wife Marilyn as well as his family and friends.
