Not sure what to say?

Bill was a special man, and he charmed everyone he met. When my son, Doug, got his first haircut, it was in Bill's chair. My husband took a picture of Doug with a lollipop and Bill with his scissors. It hung in the barber shop for years. What a special man! He made all of us feel special.

I learned a lot about life in Bill's Jefferson Street barber shop. He cut our hair for free at times because we were altar-boys. I can't believe he was only 20 years older than I. He seemed like the wise man of the world to me then. He was fun and I loved that shop. He is one of the "most unforgettable characters" in my life. My sympathy to his family.

Dear Dr. Bill and Family,

We were so sorry to read of the recent passing of your father and grandfather. I know years ago when Christie would baby-sit and your Mom or Dad would either call or stop at the house, Christie loved them both. She said they were just so nice. Lyle has many fond memories of him through Rotary. All I have ever heard about him was how fast he could give a haircut. He must have been something with those scissors.

On behalf of Christie and...

Bill was a friend to everyone. Like so many, Bill cut my father's hair and then mine. Even after graduation from college and moving to Michigan my wife and I would stop to say hello. When my father was ill Bill came to our home to cut my Dad's hair and would not take any money. The smell of Olivo hair tonic, the smoke of singed hair, and watching the scissors move will never be forgotten. A wonderful man.

Our Deepest sympathy to the DiCuccio family who we knew and visited for many years when we lived in Butler. We were honored when Bill visted our home and gave our son his first haircut.

To the DiCuccio Family~

The loss of Mr. DiCuccio is incredbily far-reaching because everyone who ever knew him - thought the world of him. May the wonderful memories of your life with him bring you peace.

I knew Bill for many years of my life in Butler. He was my barber and was my father's also.I was his paper boy when he lived on the corner of ninth Ave and New Castle St. in a big yellow brick house. (1940's).
Every one loved Bill. His great smile and personality just made everyone around him feel so good. He was one in a million and will surely be missed by all that knew him.God bless you Bill.
