I grew up in Bolivar in the 50's till the 80's.
I got a letter from Bill when I was promoted to
Chief Inspector at Dietrich on Penn View. I moved here in 81 to build an air servo controlled robot.
Now in 2017 , my daughter is now following her career at Hilti selling tools to fasten Steel studs, firring strips and channels created from scrap from the steel industry there.
What a world !!!

After learning of the gift that was given to Pitt, I began to search to learn more about Willian Dietrich. I was impressed deeply by not only his contributions but by his involvement in the University. Only after reading and learning more about Mr. Dietrich did I read that he had passed. I offer my prayers to you even months after your loss. He will be remembered by millions for his generosity and belief in the power of knowledge.

Dear family of William Dietrich, My sympathy on the death of Mr. Dietrich. I do have a question. I went to Thiel College in the 60s and roomed with Linda, whom I believe was Mr. Dietrich's sister. I have not heard anything about her since she (and I) left Thiel. If possible could you let me know about her. Peggy Stapleton Steinfurth 113 N. Market St. Martinsburg, Pa.16663 or [email protected]. May we all strive to be like him, though you may not have his wealth, we can all mirror the wealth of his heart! God bless as he soars like the eagles!
