Bill in the Conga line at my wedding

To Nancy, Danny and family,
I was shocked and saddened to hear about Bill. I've been wanting to reach out and get together for years. He was my first cubie at Fidelity. We had a great time! He made me laugh all the time. Always fun to be around. A true friend. A good man. He will be missed.

Bill at Umbagog Lake

Just heard. I am in shock and do not know what to say. Billy and I were great buddies in high school and later years. We had some fine adventures. I am going to miss him a lot. I will be thinking of him a lot. My deepest sympathy to Nancy and family.

I knew Bill from Band Parents, Soccer and at Fidelity. He always had a positive outlook and a smile. He will be missed. Our family sends condolences and prayers to you all.

I met Bill a long time ago, so long ago he was actually known as Billy Dilworth. I was a good friend of his Brother in Law, Joe Lenard whom I grew up with in Somerville.
I really got to know Bill years later when a large group of us would go up to Umbagog Lake in upstate New Hampshire for Father/Son camping trips. We did this annually for a number of years. My sons and I really enjoyed those camping trips and we all enjoyed Bill and Danny's company. They were a big part of what made...

I met Bill at my first job out of college: as a programmer at John Hancock. He was on my team and was always helpful and very, very FUN. It was great to see him a Fidelity years later.

I'm so, so sorry to hear of his passing, and my best to Nancy and Danny.

Bill saved me from putting my 20 ft ladder through one of our windows one day I was trying to use it and he must have heard the racket I was making from across the street. Always had a smile and a wave for our family and made us feel welcome to Blanchard Road when we moved here back in 2009. He will be missed by us.

A great guy. Happy outlook on life. His professionalism, focus to help people that worked for him, and (oh god) his giggle, is how I will always remember him.
