I was traveling in Europe for work when I heard the very sad news about Bill. He was one of a kind-- I will never forget his personal kindness to me, his dedication to this country and public policy, and his love of life. Sad greetings from Billy's cousin in Rhinebeck NY. I am Sonny and Helen Dockser's daughter and I have only wonderful memories of Billy as I was growing up. He was always so positive and cheerful...and truly respectful and considerate of me as well as others. I still picture him when we met him on his return to the US after he was an exchange student in Germany. Nobody wore lederhosen better than Billy.
