I met Bill Dooner in 1991 here in San Antonio Texas. I met him in a AA meeting. He told me that he have met a lot of people in his life. But that there was a few chosen ones. He said Danny you are one of those few chosen ones. Bill treated me like his son and would always tell my friends that I was his son. I am blessed to have been a part of his life here on earth. Thank you God for allowing me to have met such a great and beautiful Man.

As a youngster in Springfield, IL the Dooner family was a source of creativity and fun. I will always remember Bill and the Hen House. Bill was a source of inspiration to many.

Sally and I are sad to read of Bill"s passing. We will treasure the memories of the times we shared with the Dooners at Riverwood. Julie is so special to us, not just because of Mike but that she was so loving ,thoughtful and talented just like Bill and Ellie . Bill was so very helpful to Sally in her adventures in Ireland to rescue our daughter. I am honored to have been the family dentist at that time. Bill 's service to all was a gift from God to all he touched with his humanity. Thanks...
