William Charles Doran

Driving up from the Bronx to my Great-grandmother's house in Greenfield as a child is one of my most cherished memories. Great Uncle Raymond and Aunt Janet were wonderful people to let the Eleanore Lockhart Meehan family spend summers in their home. In my young mind Paul and Bill were much older cousins that let me and my brothers look into their room and would even talk and play with us; I had a cousin crush on both. When Henry told me the sad news this morning, Bill's wonderful impish smile came to my mind and it has been there ever since. And behind that smile such a special person.

I am so sorry for your loss, Hannah. It has been far too many years since we saw each other! I lost my own Dad this May. I will be thinking of you and your family at what I know is a very tough time. I never met your father, but I see you in his face-that photo exudes kindness and love of life. ❤
