I remember Mr. Dowdle getting me through summer school one year. I'm not sure how much of the math I remember but I certainly remember his kindness and calming demeanor. He was a true educator and gentleman.

Mr. Dowdle was a great Math teacher. I almost became a Math teacher because of him. I graduated in 1972 and consider him as being one of the best teachers I ever had. Rest In Peace Mr. Dowdle.
