Not sure what to say?

I remember when my brothers and I were little, we got a knock on the door at night during the holidays. When my parents opened it, there stood Santa Clause, red suit, beard, bag, boots and all. He just dropped by to remind us to be good and gave us candy canes before driving off in his blue car... I think we asked him where his reindeer were, and he replied that they were on vacation or something. We knew it was Uncle Bill, but it didn't matter. How cool was that? I just thought I'd share...

So sorry to hear of the loss of Bill. I certainly enjoyed the time I spent with Bill and all of the family during the time I spent visiting Glenna and everyone during the last 3 years of her life. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Chris Baker from Clague Road United Church of Christ

I can recall a wealth of memories relating to my Uncle Bill. From his extreme generosity during Christmas to my first real roller coaster ride to a now humorous lecture on alligator tears, the list of great memories will always be a part of my thoughts. One thing that I always admired in him was his selflessness and passing the credit off to others when it was he who accomplished most of the work. He will always have a place in my mind and heart. I only wish I could match his altruism and...

It is always difficult to lose someone like Uncle Bill. I do find comfort in remembering all of the good times and events that Bill helped make possible. Personally, I recall family 4th of July picnics in the backyard. He had enough fireworks to put any fancy corporate display to shame! Family picnics, Feeding the ducks at the park during Easter, Christmas get-togethers with that crazy optical fiber tree. Thanksgivings... I'd like to invite everyone to recall a memory or two of their own and...

May your hearts be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together of this special man. I will always remember him by his childhood nickname "Billy Gerald" and his musical ability. He and Uncle Bill showed me the difference between a player piano and a piano player, as they had both downstairs. Whenever I hear ragtime, especially the "Entertainer" or "Maple Leaf Rag", I think of my great cousin BG in Ohio and guess I always will. Deepest sympathy to Lori, Nancy, their families and...

Bill was a very kind man always ready to help friends and family.
We will miss you.
